Kellie Scholte runs Wealthy Wagtail Finance. She's a senior mortgage broker who helps first home buyers, families and women back themselves into property, from the first curious phone call to keys in hand. She knew content could grow her business. She just needed a strategic direction to find her audience and speak to them directly.
Doing social but not feeling traction
Before Wedge, Kellie was pouring hours into content. Chasing new ideas, seeing what other brokers are doing, creating, for hours, scheduling and posting it all herself. The return wasn't what it felt it could be. Low views, low engagement, few bookings. "I'd get a burst of energy, post for a week, then life would take over and it would all fall apart again."
She'd tried to fix it herself, including with AI tools, but without the right structure it went nowhere. "I was throwing content at Instagram, using AI tools the wrong way, chasing hacks instead of a real strategy, and none of it was landing." As a new mum building a new business, marketing was the thing that kept slipping. "Honestly, I felt defeated. Every time I looked at my Instagram I felt this weight of 'I should be doing more', with no energy left to do it."
Why Wedge
A friend who'd worked with Wedge pointed Kellie our way. "They had amazing results and spoke so highly that I needed to see for myself." The proof was in her friend's own social growth and how busy her business had become. The only hesitation was the investment. "Being a one-man band, the biggest question I had was, am I ready to allocate this money to marketing? Am I in that position in business yet?"
She was. "I'm so glad I decided to invest. It has paid me back tenfold. Wedge has been worth every single dollar and more."

The results
The follower numbers climbed fast, but that was never the point. People weren't just scrolling past. They were stopping, saving and sharing. In the last three weeks alone, TikTok picked up almost 30,000 new views, and two thirds of that came from posts published weeks earlier. "People are seeing me, connecting with me, and then wanting to work with me. This was exactly my dream."
The result that matters most to the business: 33 booked calls with new clients since starting with Wedge, from TikTok alone. All warm. All either exploring a purchase in the next six to twelve months, or ready for pre-approval now.
Beyond the numbers, Kellie got her voice back. "Wedge established my brand essence and voice, and that felt like such a sigh of relief. I feel clear on who I am." Content stopped being a chore. "It feels fun rather than exhausting. It's not a treadmill anymore, it's building something."
The bottom line
"I've learned more about marketing and the algorithm in the last two months than I did trying to figure it out myself for over a year." Kellie's advice to anyone weighing it up is simple. "If you want real results, and you want to feel like you and your voice are the core of your marketing, do it. You will not look back. You'll wish you did it years sooner."
